MY MISSION & TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

The mission is simple: I want to help humans understand their four-legged family members, and create a stress-free environment for the whole family. The physical and mental well-being of animals and their people are intertwined. The human-canine bond is an extremely deep connection that I want to enhance (or repair) to improve life for both you and your dog.

I always want to be clear up front that there are no quick fixes, shortcuts, or magic potions for getting your baby to be a "good dog." I follow the Hippocratic oath (“First, do no harm”), and practice force-free, positive reinforcement methods while applying operant conditioning to achieve your goals. Successful training programs will require daily practice mixed with patience and persistence.

I would have named my company “Team Work Dog Training” or some variation of that if they weren’t all already taken, because, it’s my belief that is the key for a successful training plan. We can teach dogs to be polite and well mannered, no problem. The biggest challenge is getting their humans to commit to a training plan. The quickest and more productive results come from everyone tugging the rope in the same direction. In most cases, the success of training plans is directly proportional to the work that the humans put in. If you are up for this exciting challenge, please contact me.
